Bloody Mary from PIER 290

Cheers from PIER 290

Our classic cocktails feature traditional mixes, unique combos

Spending summer on Lake Geneva means cruising on a boat, trying out some new water sports, spending time with friends and family, eating some great summer food, and enjoying your favorite cocktail in the sun. Here at Pier 290 we not only have great summer food options, but we also have a drink menu that features some unique cocktails as well as our classics.

Whether you’re enjoying a meal on our patio, hanging out with friends on our beach, spending some time with your family in our outdoor canopies, or cooling off inside our bar area, these classic cocktails will be a perfect addition to your summer in the sun.

Traditional Bloody Mary

If you’re getting ready to spend the afternoon out on the lake, a traditional Bloody Mary pairs great with our Brunch Burger. Our Bloody Mary is our bar manager’s family recipe that mixes all of the traditional flavors and spices with Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce. The mixture is poured over ice with vodka and V8 juice and served with a lemon and olives. If you want the traditional beer chase, just ask!

Happy Ending – House Special

House Cocktail From PIER 290

Our House Drink comes directly from the Gage family.  Young Billy stuck his hands into a lot of things through the years, including his grandfathers’ Old Fashioned, where his palette must have been imprinted with a taste for Angostura Bitters.   After hosting an “unsanctioned” social event, he had to come up with a drink that would pass the parent test.   Mixing Squirt, Vodka & a splash of bitters, he topped it off with slices of fresh lemon, lime and orange.  Voila…..everyone was happy and the punch became legendary.  In college they were so happy he was elected Social Chairman of his fraternity – The drink finally got a name when it was agreed the result was always – A Happy Ending!

The 290 John Daly

Another unique classic on our menu is the 290 John Daly. This popular classic starts off with vodka, which is then infused in house with black tea and sweetened to taste. Perfected by Pier 290 Manager Adam Farrell, the vodka is then mixed with lemonade for the classic summer version or mixed with water and lemon for a spiked iced tea. Both variations are bound to be refreshing during the hot summer days and nights.

If your favorites aren’t on that list of classics, we also have a Strawberry Pineapple Mule, the SS Swift with spiced rum and passion fruit liqueur, the Cool Cucumber with gin and lemonade, a Whiskey Sour and some local brews on tap. Our canopies are open, the boat parking on Lake Geneva is ready for you to cruise in, our patio tables are set and we’re ready to fire up the fire pits after sunset! Come join us!
