New Summer Menu Items

The weather officially trending in the right direction signifies that summertime on Lake Geneva is nearly here. At PIER 290, this means lakeside relaxation, brilliant sunsets, outdoor dining/drinking, and – most importantly – new summer menu items!

With an official release date of May 15th, our summer menu marks a transition from heartier dishes to lighter and fresher options.

Of course, many of your favorite appetizers, entrees, and specials will stick around to form a rich blend of classic and innovative choices this year.

Let’s take a closer look at a few of the most anticipated summer menu items…as well as some delicious, timeless options!


7 Highlights from Our New Summer Menu:

1) Refreshing Watermelon Stack

Let’s start things off with a classic summer appetizer. This juicy menu item includes freshly cut and stacked watermelon sprinkled with goat cheese, a pinch of pepper, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

Treat your taste buds to this refreshing small plate option after enjoying some fun in the sun on Lake Geneva.

2) New Citrus Shrimp Salad

Our most anticipated menu item is one that combines sweet and salty flavors to form the premier taste of the summer season.

Our Citrus Shrimp Salad features a host of light and balanced ingredients such as Gulf shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and sliced avocado – all gently tossed in a cilantro citrus vinaigrette and topped with sliced almonds and fresh mozzarella cheese.

Summer simply can’t come soon enough!

3) Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Mmm…our Grilled Chicken Sandwich is here to provide the perfect cure for summer hunger.

This smoky and satisfying menu item features double-lobed chicken breast and smoked bacon, topped with sliced avocado and zesty chipotle mayo – all served on a toasted brioche bun.

Offering the right amount of both creamy and spicy, this delicious option is one you can really sink your teeth into.

4) Norwegian Salmon

We couldn’t call ourselves a waterfront restaurant without introducing a new seafood item as well!

Our pan seared, 8 oz. Norwegian Salmon issues fresh flavor alongside a trio of tomatoes, asparagus, and fresh basil/garlic.

This light and flaky entrée is served with a small twirl of angel hair pasta and a sweet wine olive oil sauce to boot.

5) Bone-In Pork Chop

Ready to take your summer sit-down meal from good to great? Our house-cut and smoked, 10 oz. Bone-In Pork Chop offers a full, rich flavor to satisfy your cravings.

This mouthwatering entrée is served with a tangy chipotle cream cheese sauce, potato mash, and seasonal vegetables to finish things off right.

6) 16 oz. Bone-In Ribeye

We’re firing up the grill, protein lovers, because steak is on the menu! This summer, order up our 16 oz. Bone-In Ribeye, classically seasoned and char-grilled to your liking.

This flavorful entrée is served with creamy potato mash and seasonal vegetables, as well, to round out your meal to its fullest potential.

7) Featured Dessert of the Day: Coming Soon!

In addition to our regular featured desserts, we’re thrilled to announce our plan to include a rotating “featured dessert of the day” this summer!

Although we’re still in the process of finalizing the selections, we have a myriad of potential options in the works to satisfy your sweet tooth – from personal pies (provided by Lake Geneva Pie Company) to skillet cookies a la mode.
